Daniel Rosas is the Senior Accounting Specialist at HACIA. As a key member of HACIA’s Accounting team, Daniel supports senior leadership and HACIA’s Grant Manager in managing financial transactions, specifically related to grant reporting, ensures compliance with grant regulations, internal financial processes and supports the preparation of financial reports.

With over 10 years in the nonprofit sector, Daniel has learned how to work under pressure and adapt to the fast-paced environment that comes with grant reporting, deadlines, and audits. Daniel’s dedication to the nonprofit world is the fulfilment he feels knowing his work has a positive impact on minorities and his community.

Outside of his professional life, Daniel is a girl dad running around with his daughter and Siberian husky. In his spare time, he enjoys building and collecting Legos making sure to keep them dust free. Born and raised in the back of the yard’s neighbourhood, he is also passionate about helping his community and is part of the Peace and education coalition to help fundraise scholarships for the back of the yards youth who aspire to go to college.
